Install OPMODE as a
Native Mobile App
OPMODE is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works offline and feels like a native app. Install it on your phone for the best training experience.
iPhone & iPad (Safari)
iOS 13+ required
Open OPMODE in Safari
Navigate to opmode.app in Safari. Must use Safari — Chrome and Firefox don't support PWA installation on iOS.
Tap the Share Button
Tap the Share button at the bottom of Safari (looks like a square with an arrow pointing up).
Select "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down in the share menu and tap "Add to Home Screen".
Confirm Installation
Tap "Add" in the top right. OPMODE will now appear on your home screen like a native app!
Android (Chrome)
Android 5.0+ required
Open OPMODE in Chrome
Navigate to opmode.app in Chrome browser.
Look for the Install Prompt
Chrome will automatically show an "Install app" banner at the bottom of the screen.
Manual Installation (if no prompt)
Tap the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right, then select:
- • "Add to Home screen" or
- • "Install app"
Confirm Installation
Tap "Install" in the popup dialog.
Android (Edge, Brave, Samsung Internet)
Android 5.0+ required
Open OPMODE in Your Browser
Navigate to opmode.app in Edge, Brave, or Samsung Internet browser.
Look for the Install Prompt
Most browsers will show an "Install app" banner or notification.
Manual Installation (if no prompt)
Tap the three dots menu (⋮) or browser menu, then select:
- • "Add to Home screen"
- • "Install app"
- • "Add to phone" (Samsung Internet)
Confirm Installation
Tap "Install" or "Add" in the dialog.
Android (Firefox)
Android 5.0+ required
Open OPMODE in Firefox
Navigate to opmode.app in Firefox browser.
Open the Menu
Tap the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right corner.
Select "Add to Home screen"
Look for "Add to Home screen" or "Install" in the menu.
Confirm Installation
Tap "Add" to install OPMODE to your home screen.
💡 Note
Firefox on Android supports PWA installation, but the experience isn't as polished as Chrome, Edge, or Brave. For the best performance and features, we recommend using Chrome or Edge.
iOS (Firefox, Chrome, etc.)
iOS 13+ required
⚠️ Safari Required on iOS
Unfortunately, iOS only allows Safari to install Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). Firefox, Chrome, Edge, and other browsers on iOS cannot install PWAs.
📱 To install OPMODE on iOS:
Use Safari and follow the iOS Safari instructions above. This is an Apple limitation, not a browser choice.
Troubleshooting
Don't see the install option?
- • iOS: Make sure you're using Safari (not Chrome or Firefox)
- • Android: Use Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Samsung Internet
- • Try refreshing the page
- • Check that you're on opmode.app
- • OPMODE may already be installed — check your home screen
App not working offline?
- • Open the app at least once while online to cache data
- • Make sure you installed it as a PWA (not just a bookmark)
- • Check your browser settings allow offline storage
- • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app
Which browser should I use?
- • iOS: Safari (required for PWA installation)
- • Android (Best): Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Samsung Internet
- • Android (Works): Firefox (basic PWA support, less polished)
How to uninstall?
- • iOS: Long-press the icon → Remove App
- • Android: Long-press → App info → Uninstall
